Aurora Digital Portrait

In my illustration class last semester, I painted this portrait of Aurora Aksnes, one of my favorite musicians. When making this illustration, I interpreted the ethereal and mysterious tone of her music by painting an atmospheric, outer space-themed piece. I created contrast through the use of both watercolor-inspired semi-realism and line-less, abstracted forms.
